About Benjamin George

Benjamin George is the Electrical / I&C / Digital Engineering Supervisor in the Fort Worth Office. Ben received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in 2007. He later completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Arlington Fort Worth Cohort Program in 2012. Ben joined DP Engineering in January 2008 and has developed Electrical design modifications at a variety of Nuclear Power Plants across the United States including ANO, Palo Verde, Palisades, River Bend Station, FitzPatrick, and Comanche Peak. During the Fire Safe Shutdown Analysis implementation at Comanche Peak, Ben trained to become a qualified Test Engineer and performed Post Modification Testing during three refueling outages. Additionally, Ben has led multi-discipline projects as a Project Engineer with budgets ranging from $200k to $800k. His skillset and diverse experience in Nuclear Power has led him to become the current Discipline Lead over the DP Engineering Electrical, I&C, and Digital Modification Team personnel in the Fort Worth Office. Fire Protection Engineering has also been added to his responsibilities.  He has also focused on developing estimates and proposals for a variety of customers and project controls functions within design modification engineering organizations. Specifically, adjusting human resources, budget allocations, and schedules in order to maintain quality work while meeting project deadlines and staying within customer cost expectations.
