Clay F. Corley, BSME, PE, received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2001 and is a member of ASME. Mr. Corley is a licensed Professional Engineering in the States of Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, and Texas. Mr. Corley joined DP Engineering in 2005 and is currently the Manager of Projects responsible for overseeing the delivery of all of DP Engineering’s services. Mr. Corley previously worked for TXU Electric Co. (now Luminant) for 4 years (2001 to 2005), performing system engineering activities at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Glen Rose, Texas. In 2004, Mr. Corley accepted a temporary Project Management assignment overseeing the procurement, disassembly, and relocation of two Nuclear Safety Related Emergency Diesel Generator Sets from the mothballed WNP-1 site on the Hanford Reservation in Washington State. After joining DP Engineering, Mr. Corley performed mechanical design engineering, modifications, and engineering studies at nuclear sites across the country. Prior to being named Manager of Projects, Mr. Corley served as the Engineering Modifications Manager at Comanche Peak. In this capacity, Clay managed a team of Project Managers, Supervisors and technical staff, all of which were DP Engineering employees, who by contract formed the design modification team for the site. Previous roles within DP include Supervisor of the Mechanical, Civil & Structural Engineering Group in Fort Worth, Project Manager for DP’s Industrial Group and contributions as a front line mechanical engineer.
